An international scientific and practical conference was held on the topic
"THE ROLE OF WOMEN SCIENTISTS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE"

     An international scientific-practical conference on "The Role of Women Scientists in the Development of Agricultural Science" was held at the Shamsan Hotel in Tashkent.

     The event was opened by the Secretary of the Cotton Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Director of the National Center Shukhrat Otajonov. Acknowledging the initiative and deep thinking of women, he emphasized:
"Women are leaders in every field. A woman can balance family, children, work, and science all at once. This is clearly proven by you, our esteemed women working in our system. Whether in cotton growing, rice farming, grain cultivation, or plant science—women’s role and contribution are invaluable."

     Following this, the Director of the Rice Research Institute Masudjon Sattorov and the Chairwoman of the Uzbekistan "Women in the Agrarian Sector" Association Adiba Ahmedjanova spoke about the role of women in agricultural science.

    The Director of the National Center Shukhrat Otajonov awarded letters of appreciation to a group of women scientists for their productive research in the agricultural sector.
