The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov visited Bukhara region

    In order to study the scale of reforms in the field, Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurahman visited Bukhara region. The first destination of the visit was cotton fields overlooking the farm "Shukurullo Yizhov" in the Olot district.  Covering a total area of 45 hectares, the area is planted in 76 schemes with the foreign "Yinong 6" variety of cotton as a recurring crop after wheat. During cultivation, the seeds were taken under a film, cared for using a drip irrigation mechanism.  Practical efforts are currently underway to start harvesting. According to the plan, the picking is carried out using special technical machines. According to those responsible, the expected yield of cotton grown in the total area is estimated at 35-40 centners per hectare.

    In other cotton fields owned by the farm, yields are seen above 50 centners. Because in these regions, the number of seedlings planted in the ground is more. The application of foreign methods in cultivation, what results feeding with the right approach shows, can be seen in the example of these fields.

    It should be noted that during the maintenance of the raw materials of the grown cotton, the work of defoliation was carried out using special drones. It is also possible to witness that work has been done by relying on experience in the effective use of fertilizers. The minister gave a positive assessment of this situation, noting that productivity is at a high level. At the same time, he gave his instructions to the officials on the implementation of agrotechnical activities carried out in the same field on other cotton fields, establishing the practice of exchanging experience between specialists.
