Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurahman visited Navoi region
You have a message that these days cotton harvesting in all regions of the Republic is carried out in an organized way. It is equally responsible for everyone to harvest a rich harvest grown throughout the year without leaving it for rainy days. Consequently, it is no coincidence that the minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurahmanov is in the regions and is closely acquainted with the cotton field fields and the work carried out there.
Minister Ibrahim Abdurahmanov visited the Kiziltepa district, the"Kosagaron Orzusi " farm cotton field. The local variety "Bukhara-10" was planted here, and the untidy implementation of agrotechnical measures caused the crop not to be fully opened. The field also has an unopened cocoon, which is unknown to open in the coming days. For this reason, cotton picking is being carried out by hand picking. Expected yield is 35 centners. The minister, familiarizing himself closely with this cotton field, brought under criticism the neglect of agrotechnical measures and the processes of defoliation of cotton, which were not carried out on time. In turn, he mentioned that such performance can leave the overall system activity under problems and is an obstacle to the development of the industry. Of course, the timely implementation of agrotechnical measures, the selective sprinkling of exactly this variety and suitable for weather conditions from defoliants will also affect the timely ripening, quality of the suitable crop and the stone pressing in the threshing floor.
As part of the visit to the region, the minister also visited a 15-acre cotton field overlooking the "Independence" farm in Karmana district. A promising variety of Cotton "s -01" is planted in this area, and the expected yield according to those responsible is estimated at 35 centners per hectare. The situation can be said satisfactory regarding the cultivation of the variety, its maintenance and the implementation of quality agrotechnical measures. However, the situation could have been better than now when the number of seedlings was increased by adding seeds during cultivation, planting them in 76 schemes. At the same time, efforts are underway to start cotton harvesting processes in this field. The minister also surveyed another cotton field in the same district during the visit. It can be seen that with the rational use of the old picking tractor in the area in question, additional new technical capabilities and the installation of new types of cotton picking aggregates were obtained as a result of excessive spending. It can be said that the updated picking machine has the ability to pick cotton with good quality, without nest-killing. He is now a contributor to the harvesting of raw materials from the cotton field, not inferior to modern, new types of machinery. According to officials, it cost 200 million to repair it, install new units.
It is known that the simultaneous price of such new picking machines was estimated at 2,200,000,000 at market value. It can be seen from this that by repairing the old car, adding additional functions to it and installing aggregates on the yanga, adapted to the skin, received an additional cost of 2 billion soums.
The minister gave a positive assessment of these efforts and expressed his instructions on how to increase the scope of such approaches, conduct agrotechnical activities in an experience-based manner, organize all practices from planting a cotton variety the next season to harvesting it in a standard way.
