Uzbekistan and Australia have established cooperation in the field of cotton farming
In Uzbekistan, cooperation has been established between the Cotton Council under the President and the Australian organization "Cotton Australia." This significant agreement was reached during a working visit of a delegation of Cotton Council members to Australia. As part of the partnership, the parties aim to exchange advanced practices, modern production technologies, and analytical data in the cotton industry. "Cotton Australia" is internationally recognized for its approaches to ecological sustainability, efficient water use, and innovations. Uzbekistan, in turn, contributes significantly to international cooperation through its centuries-old cotton farming traditions and modernization processes in the industry in recent years.
During the delegation's visit to Australia, agreements were reached on developing joint projects, conducting research, and digitizing production processes. In addition, the parties paid special attention to the implementation of effective approaches and "Best Management Practices" to ensure ecological sustainability in cotton farming.
This cooperation is expected not only to strengthen bilateral relations in the cotton industry but also to open new opportunities in the international cotton market.
