It is possible to increase the yield of cotton by planting the most abundant and fertile varieties on the land of Uzbekistan

 

      Minister of Agriculture Ibrahim Abdurahmanov visited the Syrdarya region with a practical visit in order to get acquainted with the reforms carried out in the agrarian sector and their consequentialism. The first area of the visit program was introduced to the cotton-field area of Peng Sheng LLC, a Chinese joint venture company of Uzbekistan located on the territory of Syrdarya district. A foreign cotton variety is planted here on a 67-hectare plot of land using drip irrigation with a double row of 34 hectares and a simple single row of 76 cm in the rest. There are also 3,000 hectares of land where a local variety is grown based on Chinese technology. While up to 60 centners were harvested in the previous year, up to 80 centners are planned to be harvested in the current year. However, the work here is not to a satisfactory extent. The reason is that agrotechnical measures were not carried out on time, seed planting technologies were also not followed, and the use of drip irrigation technology is also not to a satisfactory extent. This was the same aspect that led to the minister's objection. Focusing on these aspects, the minister made his proposals to develop advanced and modern agricultural agrotechnologies on the basis of scientific approach, to carry out special control during the growing season, to ensure proper and timely implementation of their aprobation.

     At the next address, the field area of the cotton textile cluster “Polytex Sirdarya” of the Saikhunabad district was introduced. The local variety "Ravnaq-1" is grown in the area, which covers almost 36 hectares. Having examined the vegetative state of the Acorns, the minister noted that the field area should be treated qualitatively, attention should be paid to the implementation of the next agrotechnical measures, as well as changing the style of planting in the field areas in the future, in particular, planting as an additive under the film on the basis of drip irrigation in

      It is clearly noticeable that the work is not organized on the basis of factorism and scientific approach. As a number of proposals are reflected in this regard, it is noticeable that fruit trees and products are not planted on the basis of accuracy, agrotechnical measures are not carried out on time. The minister made his proposals to develop advanced and modern agricultural agrotechnologies on the basis of scientific approach, to carry out separate control during the growing season, to carry out their aprobation correctly and within their term, as well as to get acquainted with the agrotechnical activities carried out on the territory, as well as the growing process. The goal is to bring into practice advanced technologies to improve the state of cotton production and productivity, increase productivity by working on the basis of rich experience and scientifically based recommendations based on the integration of foreign and domestic scientists, and thereby increase the benefit of farmers and farmers.
