Soil Analysis – The Key to Productivity!

Each region has its own unique soil and climate conditions, which serve as the primary factor when cultivating any crops. Soil composition and climate conditions are among the most important factors that directly impact yield. Therefore, a scientific approach in agriculture plays a crucial role.

   N. Qalandarov, Head of the Department at the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemical Research, PhD in Biological Sciences, provided insights into the soil and climate conditions of the Oqqo‘rg‘on district in the Tashkent region and the results of soil analyses conducted in the area. These studies have identified the optimal soil fertility levels, fertilization system, and suitable agrotechnical methods for crop cultivation in the region.

A scientific approach to achieving high yields, in-depth soil composition analysis, and a well-developed fertilization strategy help farmers enhance soil fertility, efficiently use water resources, and improve crop resistance to diseases. Implementing agrotechnical measures based on scientific principles will increase the yield not only of cotton but also of other crops while ensuring long-term soil quality preservation.
