Chinese experts held seminars on the Ferghana region

     Mr P. Sayfutdinov, head of the working group of the Cotton Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with scientists and specialists from the Chinese state, Mr Wang Yi Li, visited Rishtan district of Fergana region, where foreign cotton varieties are grown.     The workshop took place in the field, was full of questions and answers and was inspiring.

The second point of the specialist-led visit was to the Altyarik area. Agronomic interventions by the Hamza Expo Art Textile cotton cluster in the district on cotton fields sown with foreign seeds were reviewed with agronomists and specialists from the cluster and recommendations were made.

   The third district was Baghdad district, where a meeting with the district khokim and relevant specialists was held, as well as inspection of foreign seeded cotton fields in the cotton textile cluster ‘Ferghana Spinning’.

   Foreign specialists also met with the heads of farms of Uchkupriki district ‘AP Azizov Akbarali’, ‘Nizomiddin Dildora’, ‘Sobirjon oglu Hasanhan Kapasi’, ‘Madaliev Aziz’, ‘Sakhvatpesha Yakubjon’ and a number of others, acknowledging the coherence of machinery in the field and the correct organisation of work. It was also explained what is now to be done.
