Pop District Farmers Begin Preparations for the New Season

In the "Roxatali Toshmatov" farm, located in the "Sirdaryo" MMTP area of Pop District, Namangan Region, land has been prepared for the 2025 harvest. Today, on March 11, 2025, cotton planting of the "Xin Lu Zhong-52" variety imported from China has begun under plastic film. Pop District consultant T. Mamarasulov provided additional recommendations to the farm head on cultivating this variety. In particular, the following agronomic practices are essential for its successful cultivation:

• Mineral fertilizers. Apply sufficient mineral fertilizers during the early growth stages of cotton.
• Irrigation. Ensure the cotton does not dry out and use the sap irrigation method.
• Growth management. Use the "Sojen" growth regulator to control cotton growth.
• Foliar feeding. Apply complex mineral fertilizers rich in phosphorus, potassium, and micronutrients through foliar feeding.

The "Xin Lu Zhong-52" variety, developed in China, offers the following advantages:
